Harriett Maire


Harriett is an Auckland-based director for commercials, film and theatre. She’s represented commercially by Film Construction. Her work is informed by her passion for performance directing, and her desire to tell stories that centre around human connection.

In 2015, she graduated as AUT’s Television and Screen Production graduate of the year. Her two short films have been recognised and awarded internationally. She’s currently working on single/single, which is her series of one-take monologues. Harriett also works as production coordinator, a casting director, and 1st AD for TVCs. This breadth of experience gives her a holistic understanding of the film industry, and enables her to be a comprehensive and empathetic director.
