Andrea Brigden

Andy Brigden is Managing Director of Out East Creative, Arts Management and Consultancy based primarily in Hawke's Bay and Christchurch. Her main 'baby' is FoUND: Festival of the (Un)Dead which made its debut in Christchurch in October 2018 as a Halloween inspired, destination weekend festival. She has also produced 'Thrill the World' annually since 2016 in Christchurch's Cathedral Square - a global synchronised zombie dance event to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'.

As well as creating arts events and consulting in theatre management, Andy works as an actor, director and teacher of drama for young people. She has worked in management positions with the Isaac Theatre Royal, Hawke's Bay Opera House and is a graduate of the Venue Management School in Australia. Andy has a BA Hons in Performance Writing and Visual Performance and a PGCE in Secondary Drama. She is former Director of the Hawke's Bay Youth Theatre and a Company Director of Theatrecomrades and Hawke's Bay Events.
