Anne Lai Ping Chan Ho

Anne graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Arts at the age of fifty-seven. Although it took her nine years during which she almost gave up, with the support of her family and with her persistence, she finally finished the course.

She started her writing career when a friend suggested she send in articles to a magazine, Muse, in Hong Kong. When one of the articles was published, she was thrilled. Her passion for writing was revived.

She had lost several opportunities to have a successful career due to bipolar symptoms. But in her twilight years she not only writes, she also composes music, and she has discovered she loves teaching. She is living a fulfilled life.
