It all started with a cosmic trigger...
Chapel Perilous is both the physiological state of acknowledging you are hindered by an alterable reality, and the moniker of Stella Reid as a producer. The production company is behind The Basement Tapes (2017), which won awards at the NZ Fringe Festival, The Melbourne Fringe Festival, and Wellington Theatre Awards, and The Christmas Detention Centre (2017), on at BATS in December 2017. It is also the company behind the much more difficult to pronounce Eschaton (2012), Oneironaut (2013), and Mountebank (2014) (all as part of Long Cloud Youth Theatre).
The common variable in Chapel Perilous' work is both a wild product, and the involvement of Stella Reid.
