I have the incredible opportunity to attend John Bolton's 'Theatre for Life, Life for Theatre summer school' for three whole weeks next month!!

Along with my husband Kristopher I am co-director of The Unity Creative. We are a creative company passionate about making innovative work touching on the raw nerve of human existence and experience. I am an actor, director, writer and theatre teacher.

I believe this full time three week course will greatly enrich my practice as an artist, my future theatre work, and my tutoring of young people passionate about theatre and life!

John Bolton trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, and Ecole Jacques Lecoq, Paris.

A Fellow of the Australia Council, he has received numerous awards for directing and teaching including two Melbourne Green Room Awards, The 2002 Kenneth Myer Medallion for services to Theatre in Victoria, and the 2005 Teaching Excellence Award at the Victorian College of the Arts.

He ran his own school in Melbourne for 9 years and was Head of Acting at The Victorian College of the Arts between 2002 and 2006.

John promises to focus on the telling of our own stories and creating performance material to express these. I would love to be able to take the tools and skills learnt and use them in the creation of my new upcoming work for children 'Hip Hop n Popcorn' and in my ongoing training and teaching of young people.

I am asking for support to realise this incredible opportunity. The funds raised from this campaign will go towards the fees and associated costs of the workshop. Your donation and sharing of the campaign will be significant, and I'd be profoundly grateful for your help.
