Geoffrey Dolan

Geoff has been an actor for over 30 years appearing in many stage shows in Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch and Palmerston North. He has also had numerous Television roles, most recently in "The Almighty Johnson's" as Thor and "Outrageous Fortune" as well as several feature film roles, the most prominent being in "In My Fathers Den".

However his main avenue of performance has been as an improvisor since hitting the stage doing Theatresports in Palmerston North at Centrepoint before going on to performing with The Court Jesters in Christchurch and The Improvisors in Wellington. Geoff is now a Creative Director with The Public Works Performing Arts Collective Inc. which traded as Auckland Theatresports and is now known as ConArtists where he has been a core member since 1994 and now also holds the position of president of the companies Board of Directors.

With his involvement here he has for the last 4 years been a member of the International Theatresports Institute Management Board which oversees the licensing and management of Keith Johnstones trademarked formats Theatresports, Maestro, Gorilla and The Life Game globally. He now chairs the selection committee approving new applications from theatre companies around the world.

All of these roles, locally and internationally are unremunerated and done voluntarily
