Hokianga Arts Community Trust

The remote rural location of the Hokianga is considered to be the oldest Maori settlement in Aotearoa - New Zealand. Our community has approximately 6,350 people and Maori represent 73% of the population

The Hokianga Arts Community Trust believes that this container space will assist and support those people in the community who wish to initiate and/or develop an art practice; by encouraging them to explore the different ways art can be made, experienced and interpreted. Prior to the sale of the Hokianga Art Gallery building located in Rawene, the Trust had a very successful space for the arts in the community. This work can be viewed on the Hokianga Art Gallery facebook page.

We need your help to raise $7000 to purchase, transport and fit out a new container gallery space.

Any donation big or small makes a huge difference in reaching our goal. You can also support us further by sharing our campaign out to your networks

Boosted is an all or nothing crowd funding platform which means if we do not reach our target, the donations are returned to the donors and we receive nothing

If we are successful the Arts Foundation will forward all donors a receipt for tax purposes. Most donations can claim a 33% tax credit at the end of the personal tax year.
