Kokomai Creative Festival

The Kokomai Creative Festival is an explosion of world class entertainment, held biennually in October over 10 days, right across the Wairarapa region.

Our Festival is integral in fuelling our region’s economy through accommodation, food, beverage and tourism. As well as contributing to our prosperity, festivals also bring communities together, most importantly it encourages our youth to dream big.

This year our programme brings to the Wairarapa top New Zealand performers, artists and writers, alongside international artists from Germany, Australia, Ireland and Wales. 

Our Festival includes genres such as music, comedy, theatre, visual arts, literature and film.
