At the 2012 SGCNZ UOSWSF her student-directed piece from A Winter’s Tale received the Outstanding Movement/Dance Award. Lydia attended SGCNZ NSSP in 2012. Her most recent roles have been Rosalind, As You Like It at the 2013 National SGCNZ UOSWSF and Tranio in a local production of Taming of the Shrew. This group of young people, chosen to represent New Zealand, will travel to the UK from 4-23 July 2014, where they will undertake intensive theatre workshops and rehearsals culminating in the public performance of an hour of a Shakespeare play on stage at Shakespeare’s Globe, London.
